Lessons
How does the free trial lesson work?
Come in or join online for one lesson with a tutor. We see where your child is, you meet the tutor and there is no obligation to carry on.
How long are the lessons?
Most lessons are one hour. Younger children often prefer 45 minutes, and we are happy to tell you which suits.
Where do lessons take place?
At our centre in Yourtown, or online with a live video classroom. Many families mix the two.
Can my child change tutor?
Of course. If it does not click, tell us and we will find a better match, no awkwardness.
Fees
How much do lessons cost?
1-to-1 lessons are from £38 an hour, small groups from £18 an hour each and online lessons from £32. Prices vary a little by level.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay as you go or in a pack of ten lessons, which saves a little. Stop whenever you like with a week's notice.
How do I pay?
By card or bank transfer. You get one simple invoice at the start of each month.
Safety
Are your tutors checked?
Yes. Every tutor has an enhanced DBS check, two references and a trial lesson with us before they teach.
Can I sit in on lessons?
Yes, especially at the start. Our waiting area is comfortable, and many parents stay for the first few weeks.
Exams
Do you help with the 11+?
Yes. It is one of our most popular programmes, with practice papers and technique for each type of question.
How soon will we see progress?
Most families notice more confidence within a few weeks, and a grade lift within a term. We share a short progress report every term.
