About this service

Good pruning is slow, careful and sparing. We shape a tree so it lets in more light, clears your roof and stays strong, without leaving it looking butchered.

What is included

  • Crown reduction for oversized trees
  • Crown thinning to let light through
  • Crown lifting over paths, drives and roads
  • Deadwood removal
  • Clearing branches away from roofs and windows
  • Formative pruning for young trees

Common questions

How much can you take off?

As a rule no more than a quarter of the crown in one go. Taking more can stress the tree. We explain what we will do before we start.

When is the best time to prune?

Most trees do well with pruning from late autumn to winter, once the leaves have dropped. We will tell you if your tree is the exception.
