Cost and quotes

How much does a new roof cost?

It depends on size, pitch and materials. As a guide, a typical semi-detached house in concrete tile is from £7,500, and natural slate from £11,000. You get a fixed written price after a free survey.

Is the survey really free?

Yes. We climb up (or use a drone), photograph everything and send a clear written report, whether or not you go ahead.

Do you ask for a deposit?

Only for materials on larger jobs. Nothing is ever payable until work starts, and the balance is due when you are happy.

The work

How long will it take?

Most repairs take a day. A full re-roof on a typical house takes four to ten working days, weather allowing.

Will you cover my belongings?

We protect the garden, the drive and the loft, and sheet the roof every night so it is always watertight.

Do you remove the old materials?

Yes. Everything is taken away and the site is swept clean each day.

Guarantees and cover

What guarantee do you give?

Twenty-five years on new roofs and ten years on repairs, in writing and insured-backed.

Are you insured?

Yes, with £5 million public liability cover. We are happy to show the certificate.

Can you help with an insurance claim?

Yes. We provide dated photographs and a clear report for your insurer after storm damage.
